Batteries are available with at varying price points depending on the amount of power they can store. Other factors that determine the price of a battery include the warranty offered and brand name. Depending on how it is used and maintained, an inverter for home use and battery should have a relatively long life span. Hence, this is a purchase that is not repeated often. Buying a cheap inverter may not always be the best choice as these inverters and batteries require heavy maintenance and will have a shorter life span. Instead, it is always better to buy a branded inverter from a company that offers good after sale service and warranties.
